Tom W. Buescher joined Hochschild, Bloom & Company LLP in the summer of 1970 as a staff accountant. He was promoted to the position of manager in 1976. The duties of this position included review of the Washington office's audited, reviewed and compiled financial reports and work papers for compliance with U.S. generally accepted auditing standards and procedures.

Mr. Buescher was admitted as a partner in 1985. He is currently the partner in charge of the Washington office and the administrative partner of the Firm. Additional responsibilities include managing the Federal and State income tax return procedures of the Firm and providing quality services to clients.

Educational Background and Certification

Mr. Buescher majored in accounting at the University of Missouri - Columbia and graduated in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. On February 8, 1974, he received his CPA certificate (CPA certificate number 4153) and is currently licensed to practice in the State of Missouri.

Continuing Education

Mr. Buescher has exceeded the annual requirements of the Continuing Professional Education (CPE) program of the Missouri Society of CPAs since the inception of the program in 1976. He participates in a minimum of 40 hours of CPE courses per year. He also prepares and presents annual tax update seminars to the Firm.

Professional Memberships

Mr. Buescher is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Missouri Society of CPAs. He is also a member of the Washington Rotary Club. He is a former member of the Accounting Careers Committee of the Missouri Society of CPAs, the St. Louis Chapter's Accounting Careers Committee, Washington Jaycees, Washington Optimist Club and Four Rivers Area YMCA operating board.
